Tonight's the night - the Moose Jaw Warriors face off against the Blades in Saskatoon for Game 1 of the WHL Eastern Conference Championship series.

The Warriors and Blades will then battle it out in Game 2 in Saskatoon tomorrow. Puck drop for both games is at 7 p.m., and if you're not headed to Saskatoon, you can catch all the action on Country 100 with Voice of the Warriors, James Gallo - pregame show starts at 6:40 p.m.

The Warriors will be back on home ice for Games 3 and 4 on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Moose Jaw Events Centre - you can get your tickets at the box office, or on Sasktix.ca

Senior and Bantam Badminton District Championships are on at Peacock Collegiate this Saturday with games starting at 10 a.m. Admission is $3.

Moose Jaw Junior Mustangs Lacrosse Club will be facing off against the Swift Current Wolverines for their home opener tomorrow starting at 7 p.m. at the Kinsmen Sportsplex. Admission is $5.

In Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Florida Panthers beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 5-3 taking a 3-0 lead in that first round series. Carolina beat the New York Islanders 3-2. The Hurricanes now own a 3-0 lead. 

In Major League Baseball, the Toronto Blue Jays lost 2-1 to the Kansas City Royals.
