Warnings and watches issued for southern Saskatchewan Thursday night but it ends up just a light show.

The thunderstorm warnings and watches stretched from Swift Current and the Lake Diefenbaker area through Moose Jaw, Baildon and Briercrest and Regina at times Thursday night.

A very unique and ominous looking mass of cloud passed through Moose Jaw in the early evening, in fact, we had several calls of unconfirmed funnel clouds. But it simply produced lightning and thunder then moved on.

We have no reports of any damage from last the thunderstorms. Our Rain Watchers around Moose Jaw are reporting anywhere from 2-5mm of rain.

If you had some severe weather, give us a call 693-NEWS.
