Young football players in Moose Jaw are strapping on the pads in search of city title starting Tuesday.

 

They practice everyday, swinging homework and house work in between, and Tuesday their quest for a city title begins.

Kinsmen PeeWee Minor Football playoffs begin Tuesday at Elks field as the Riders take on the Lions.  The Riders finished the regular season in third place with a 4-2-1 record, while the Lion placed 6th with a 0-7 record.  Kick off is at 6:30pm.

Wednesday the Bombers and Renegades take to the field in the other quarterfinal.  The Bombers ranked fourth with a 3-3 record and the Renegades were 5th going 2-3-1.

The Ti-Cats and Argos took the top two positions and byes to the semi-finals with 5-2 records.

Semi-finals will be played on Friday; the city final is slated for Tuesday, October 30th.
