Another trip to ManSask long course championships for the Moose Jaw Kinsmen Flying Fins meant another small club championship for the swimming club.

Chloe Johns won gold in the 13-14 girls 200 breaststroke, and Johns was also part of the 13-14 provincial girls relay team that also won gold.

Harvey and Johns also won gold with the 15 and over girls provincial relay team.

Cadence Johns earned her first Canadian trials time in the 200M backstroke, and she'll be heading to Toronto in April to compete in the Olympic trials. Olivia Harvey got a new Canadian trials time in the 50 metre backstroke.

At the end of the month, Cadence and Choloe Johns, and Harvey, will be in Calgary to compete at the Canadian Junior Championships.

Chloe and Cadence Johns, as well as Reese Koch and Austin Lin, will represent Saskatchewan at the Western Canadian Games in August.

Many members of the team qualified but only eight members of the team were able to go. Those eight swimmers were going against teams with 15 swimmers for the small club championships. 11-year-old Mateah Purdy raced at this event for the first time and was able to make one of the finals.

Katie Waldenberger won silver on the 12U girls 1500 free, 400 free and 100 free, and bronze in the 12U girls 800 free and 200 free.

Harvey took silver in the 15 and over girls 100 fly and 50 back, and bronze in the 15 and over girls 200 fly and 100 free.

Johns took silver in the 15 and over girls 200 back.
