Fall suppers are a hallmark tradition of Saskatchewan life and today, Sept. 21, is the last day you can get tickets for this year's annual fall supper from the Moose Jaw and District Seniors Association.

While the event will not be hosted at the Timothy Eaton Gardens this year due to COVID-19 restrictions, you can still get your fill of harvest bounty by way of takeout or delivery.

General Manager Moneek Randhawa explains more.

"It's open to members and non-members alike. Members pay $12 a ticket and non-members pay $14. When you come into the office or phone us to arrange for tickets, just let us know if it's delivery or pickup and we indicate that on the ticket."

She also gives a sneak peek of the menu.

"So it's all the turkey fixings. Turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, turnips and mixed vegetables, dressing, coleslaw, jello salad, and then pumpkin-spiced cake for dessert."

She says she hopes that next year's celebration can once again happen in person at the Timothy Eaton Gardens. Only 200 tickets are being sold and most have already been snatched up so make sure to call soon.
