Moose Jaw Police received 42 calls for service

8:52 am - Theft from apartment reported on the 100 Block of Fairford Street E. Complainant wished no police action.

9:32 am - Accident reported on the 1200 block of 7th Avenue SW, vehicle was caught in ruts and slid into bridge. There was no damage to bridge, and minor damages to vehicle.

10:38 am - Police were called to the 800 block of Stadacona Street E. to assist in locating an adult male. He was last seen at 9:00 pm on February 2, 2014. Several places were checked, and he returned home at 2:50 pm.

10:57 am - Fraud reported on the 0 Block of High St W, unauthorized money was taken out of bank account. The complainant wished no police action.

1:01 pm - Gas theft reported from the 1200 Block of 13th Avenue NW. Still under investigation to review video of suspect.

1:46 pm - Theft reported on the 800 block of Keith Street. Apartment entered and rent money was stolen, still under investigation to speak with suspect.

3:23 pm - Dispute reported on the 1200 block of 11th Avenue SW. Dispute in regards to living arrangements. Situation mediated and advised of proper agencies to contact for custody.

3:25 pm - Dangerous driving reported on 5th Avenue NE and Caribou St E. Grey 4 door car with female driver driving around with male riding on hood, unable to locate vehicle, no plate number obtained.

3:28 pm - Motor vehicle accident with injuries reported on 1st Avenue NW and High Street W. 2 vehicles involved, minor injuries to one driver. Driver was advised to report to SGI and seek medical attention. No charges have been laid and the investigation is ongoing.

3:51 pm - Hit & Run reported on the 500 Block Home Street W. The accident occurred on February 1 or 2 in parking lot causing approximately $400 damage. There was no paint transfer and no suspect vehicle at this time.

3:47 pm - Property dispute on the 700 block of Fairford Street E. Situation was mediated, some property exchanged and advised it is a civil matter.

4:25 pm - Dangerous driving reported on the 700 block of Thatcher Drive E. 4 door blue Cavalier with female driving was swerving and talking on cell phone. No plate number was obtained, police were unable to locate vehicle.

5:21 pm - Theft of auto reported on the 800 block of 7th Avenue NE. Civil agreement entered, bill of sale provided, both parties involved spoken to and advised civil matter.

5:26 pm - Fraud reported on Mayberry Crescent. Unknown person sent unauthorized messages to unknown persons via complainants phone. Issue was reported for informational purposes.

6:38 pm – Harassing text messages reported on the 600 Block Coteau Street W. A Young female was receiving harassing text messages and pictures of male suspect via social media. The incident is still under investigation to speak with male suspect.

7:37 pm - Alcohol Screening Device was used to assess the degree of impairment resulting in a 24 hr license suspension for an adult male on the 0 Block River Street E.

8:07 pm – Complaint of loud music from an apartment on the 500 block of Athabasca Street W. The resident was warned under the noise bylaw.

9:17 pm – Property found on the 0 block of Main Street N. A wallet was found and the owner contacted to pick up at police station.

10:15 pm – Dispute reported on the 0 block of 1st Avenue NE. A Female and male subject were having argument and were separated prior to police arrival.

Police responded to 4 911 calls.
Police executed 1 warrant.
Police were called to assist with 6 other agencies.
Police responded to 2 alarm calls.
