Rocky Mountain Equipment is now accepting applications for its community investment initiative.

The RME Right by You Ag Society Grant program helps to support agricultural societies and rural communities in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Last year $10,000 grants were awarded to the Marwayne Ag Society and Drumheller Stampede and Agricultural Society in Alberta, the Melfort Agricultural Society in Saskatchewan, and Manitoba’s Hamiota Agricultural Society for their local projects.
Those projects included a new hockey score clock, an 18-basket disc golf course, improved accessibility to the ag society’s grandstand and show arena, and a new playground structure, respectively all of which are projected to be completed by the fall.

This year, the RME Right by You Ag Society Grant program will once again award $10,000 grants to four agricultural societies across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Agricultural societies must apply to the grant program to be considered, eligible projects must enhance the lives of community residents and be completed within two years.

The RME Right by You Ag Society Grant applications are now open and will close July 30, with successful applicants being announced Sept. 30.

More information on the grant program  is available here.
