153 new cases of COVID-19 were announced on Friday, as well as 136 recoveries, and no deaths.

Of the new cases, 50 are in Regina, 31 are in the far northwest, 18 in Saskatoon, 17 in the central-east zone, 11 in the northwest, eight in the far northeast, five in the north-central zone, five in the south-central zone, three in the northeast and one in the central-west. Four cases are pending resident information.

1,510 cases are considered active.

29 of the 31 cases located in the south-central region are in the sub zone 'south-central 2' which is made up of Moose Jaw and the surrounding area

155 people are in hospital, with 139 receiving inpatient care, and 16 are in intensive care.

There were 3,079 COVID-19 tests processed in Saskatchewan on Thursday.

3,545 COVID-19 vaccines were administered Thursday, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in Saskatchewan to 69,451.
