The U18 AAA Canucks split a doubleheader Monday in Weyburn against the Southeast Twins.

They lost 2-1 in the first game but won 5-3 in the second.

Twins pitcher Kaiden Lyons no-hit the Canucks in the first game, with the Canucks pushing their run across with baserunning following a walk. Canucks hurler Kyle Duncan struck out six and allowed only three hits and two walks in his five innings of work.

Canucks pitcher Cam O'Reilly struck out eight in six innings of work on the mound in the second game, while Nathan Varjassy had a pair of RBI.

Their next game is tomorrow night in Regina against the Athletics and they have a doubleheader in Swift Current Saturday against the 57s.
