A 22 year old man is behind bars today and facing serious charges after several incidents in Moose Jaw early Saturday morning.

The Moose Jaw Police Service responded to a call just after midnight from the VLA sub-division - a break and enter in progress.

A person inside a home was assaulted and the culprit took off and then returned just as police were arriving.

He then broke into another nearby home where he was confronted by the homeowner.  There was an altercation and again the man took off.  The man was tracked down by the K-9 Unit and arrested.  Police say neither of the local residents was injured seriously.

Victor Mosquera, 22 years old, from Hepburn has been charged with two counts of break and enter and two counts of assault along with break of probation.  Police will hold him in custody until a court appearance Monday.
