The Moose Jaw Cultural Centre celebrated its 5th anniversary on the weekend. Hundreds of people were on hand to watch performances from many local talents. Mosaic Company was also in attendance, presenting the Cultural Centre with a cheque worth $250,000.

"It is a part of our community investment strategy that we have at Mosaic, not only in Saskatchewan but around the world", said Brad Delorey, Mosaic Manager of Public Affairs. "The Cultural Centre is an important part of Moose Jaw, the arts and culture are important in this province and we are certainly glad to support that on many levels."

From Mosaic's standpoint, the cash is for sustainability of the facility so the people of Moose Jaw can enjoy it for years to come. The money will be paid out over five years.
