37 new cases of COVID-19 were announced Wednesday, along with 78 recoveries.

14 of the new cases are located in Regina, 13 in Saskatoon, six in the central east. one in the far northwest, one in the northwest, and one in the north-central zone. There were no new cases in the south-central region.

It should be mentioned however that the low number of new cases Wednesday is primarily due to technical difficulties at the Roy Romanow Provincial Laboratory. Thursday's numbers are expected to reflect the delayed cases.

799 cases are considered active, and 26 people are in hospital with 22 receiving inpatient care and 4 in intensive care.

A reminder as well, that as of Friday, November 6, indoor private gathering sizes are being reduced, with the maximum allowable gathering size in the home setting being decreased from 15 down to 10.
