The Sukanen Ship Pioneer Village and Museum was bustling with activity on Saturday during the 3rd Annual Outdoor Flea Market and Swap Meet, with over 400 people were in attendance shortly after the event opened its doors.

Vendors from across the province and beyond set up dozens of booths on the north field on the Sukanen grounds, with tables bearing everything from handcrafted goods and crafts to vintage tools, collectibles, records, vehicle parts, and everything in-between.

Although some clouds loomed ominously overhead, they soon gave way to sunshine shortly after the event began, just in time for a series of tractor-drawn wagons to begin ferrying people to-and-from the site of the flea market.

The grounds were also open for attendees to explore the wide assortment of artifacts, vehicles and equipment and see all that the museum had to offer. Near the entrance of the north field a concession stand was busy providing snacks, burgers and other refreshments to scores of hungry guests.
