1. Sidewalk Days Battle of the Bands, Saturday

Which band will reign supreme? Four bands will take to the stage at the Kinsmen Sidewalk Days Festival in the hopes of winning the Battle of the Bands. It will kicks off on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Grant Hall Main Stage.

Don't forget there will also be live music at the John's Music Stage starting at noon on Saturday.

2. Moose Jaw Ford Children's Village, Saturday

This is free, family-friendly entertainment taking place at the Kinsmen Sidewalk Days in front of Victory Church. Activities include bouncy castles, a chill tent, bubbles, freezies, colouring, face painting and more.

3. Deju Vu Duel Zone, Saturday

The Deja Vu Duel Zone can be found at the intersection of Main Street and High Street during the Kinsmen Sidewalk Days Festival.

Stop by and challenge your friends to a jousting match or try your hand at the Bungee Run Course.

4. Eyebrow Fair, Saturday

For the last 28 years, the Eyebrow Fair has been held on the first Saturday in July. The day consists of a pancake breakfast, Horse show, household arts entries, silent auction, bouncy castle, refreshment gardens, concession booth, slo-pitch, beach volleyball, face painting, live entertainment and much more, it is free to get into the grounds.

A show and shine is taking place in conjunction with the fair south of the Eyebrow Campgrounds across the highway. Participants are gathering at 11:30 a.m. with a parade at noon.

5. Weekend programming at the library, Saturday and Sunday

Stop in at the Moose Jaw Public Library as a number of activities will be happening all weekend long.

On Saturday at 10 a.m., the BBC mini-series Pride and Prejudice will be shown at the library theature. The show is rated PG. Admission is free with no registration required.

Maker Saturdays starts at 1:30 p.m. in the Herby Taylor Room for children ages 8 to 12. Registration is required and space is filling up quickly.

Drop-in Magic the Gathering takes place on Saturday as well starting at 2 p.m. in the reading room for those 13 years of age and up.

On Sunday at 1 p.m., the Moose Jaw Chess Club will meet at the library's south meeting room. All ages and skill levels are welcome to drop by.
