54 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Saskatchewan today, with 15 located in the north-central region, 13 in Saskatoon, nine in Regina, nine in the central east region, two in the far northwest, two in the far northeast, two in the northwest, one in the northeast and one in the southeast. There were no new cases in the south-central zone.

650 cases are considered active, and 23 more recoveries were announced as well. 

23 people are in hospital, with 18 receiving inpatient care and five in intensive care.

A COVID-19 outbreak has also been declared for a restaurant here in Moose Jaw. Any residents who visited the Guac Mexi Grill on October 23rd should self-isolate immediately if they have symptoms. Those without symptoms should self-monitor for 14 days.

Public Health is also reminding residents that "if you are going to participate in Halloween activities, do so safely.  Don’t attend or host large events that exceed gathering size limits under current public health orders or Reopen Saskatchewan Guidelines.  This includes house parties, public events and pub crawls.  Activities that do not follow public health orders or Reopen Saskatchewan Guidelines have been shown to be possible “superspreaders” and hosts/businesses can be fined under the Public Health Act."
