There were 74 new cases of COVID-19 announced in Saskatchewan Monday, with 22 of those located in the north-central region, 18 in Saskatoon, 14 in Regina, five in the northwest, and one in each of the far northwest, northeast, central west, and central east regions. There were no new cases in the south-central zone.

858 cases are considered active.

There were 14 recoveries, and 34 people are now in hospital, with 27 of those receiving inpatient care, and 7 people are in intensive care.

Public Health also shared the following information, announcing that drive-thru testing will now be available in Yorkton.

The following are locations, dates, and times that drive-thru testing is available to residents:

Yorkton - 276 Myrtle Avenue

  • Monday to Friday 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Regina - International Trade Centre at Evraz Place - Hall C, 1700 Elphinstone Street

  • Sunday to Saturday – 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Saskatoon - 3630 Thatcher Avenue

  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - 12 p.m. - 7:15 p.m.
  • Saturdays and Sundays - 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

A valid Saskatchewan Health Card will be required for each person to get tested.  A Canadian Armed Forces number or Interim Federal Health identification will also be accepted.  Individuals from out of province will require a valid provincial health card from their province of residence.

You will be required to wear a mask during the registration process.
