To date, 291,072 COVID-19 tests have been processed in Saskatchewan.  As of Nov. 11, when other provincial and national numbers were available, Saskatchewan’s per capita rate was 193,007 people tested per million population.  The national rate was 270,258 people tested per million population.

On Thursday, 1,706 COVID-19 tests were processed in Saskatchewan.

Two more outbreaks were declared in Moose Jaw this week as well.

An outbreak was declared at Prince Arthur School on Nov. 13 and Moose Jaw Extendicare long-term care home on Nov. 12.

An outbreak is generally declared when two or more people test positive for COVID‐19 and are all linked to a specific non-household setting or event.

It is important to note, the dates that the outbreaks were declared by the Saskatchewan Health Authority are not necessarily the dates of the positive tests.
