Dillon Peeace, a man accused of attempted murder, appeared in Moose Jaw Provincial Court via video on Tuesday.

Legal aid lawyer Suzanne Jeanson asked to have the case adjourned until Thursday.

Jeanson said they had acquired the services of Saskatoon lawyer Brian Pfefferle to take on the case. The case had previously been adjourned due to a conflict with Jeanson’s office.

Dillon was arrested and charged with attempted murder on Sept. 28 following a machete attack that took place in downtown Moose Jaw that left two people critically injured. Kyle Peeace was also charged with attempted murder stemming from the same incident. Kyle’s next court appearance is Nov. 15.

Dillon also faces several other outstanding charges including causing a disturbance, resisting arrest, breaking and entering, uttering threats and failing to appear in court.
