The Moose Jaw Public Library.

The Moose Jaw Public Library is putting a focus on adults over the summer months with some special programming starting this week.  The Library usually suspends their adult programming over the summer, but Assistant Head Librarian Laura Stern says thanks to a grant from New Horizons for Seniors, they've got tons planned.

"Our regular book club that we do throughout the year, we're going to keep running that in June, July and August," explains Stern.  "If you're interested in that, the first Tuesday evening meeting for that book club is June 26th and they're going to be reading 'The Battle For Christabel' by Margaret Forster, and you can pick up a copy of the book at the Public Library and then come talk about the book.  It's a really great time."

Stern says they will also be kicking off their Thursday Adult Programming schedule this week with an open house of the Public Library on Thursday afternoon, "This is something that our Senior Advisory Committee asked for.  We're going to be running tours of the Library and highlighting the collections that are of interest to seniors, like our large print collection -- which is very big -- and our audio books and all of that sort of thing."

The tours going at 2pm and 2:30, followed by a social tea at 3pm.
