Tourism Moose Jaw is once again offering three different trolley tours this summer.

The daytime historic tours are an overview of Moose Jaw and tells the city’s stories from the past and are a favourite among tourists.

The ghost tours make their return for all ages, telling some of the local ghost stories around the city. Meanwhile, the true crimes tour is for ages 16-plus and shares some true, detailed crime stories from Moose Jaw’s past. All tours began in May and will be running throughout the summer.

“The daytime tours run on the weekend and ghost tours run Thursday, Friday, true crime runs on Saturday and then in the summer, we will be adding quite a few more dates in July,” said Tourism Moose Jaw executive director Jacki L’Heureaux Mason.

Tourism Moose Jaw is also patiently awaiting the arrival of their new trolley. In late April, it was announced that Tourism Moose Jaw received $295,000 in funding for the trolley.

L’Heureux Mason said there have been some delays because of Transport Canada regulation changes, but the new trolley is on its way to the Notorious City.

“They got a curveball thrown at them, so we're just waiting on that testing to be complete. We're still hoping, at this point in time, that we are going to have the trolley in Moose Jaw for July, but we are not entirely certain of which date,” she said.
