Three lives have now been claimed by farm related accidents. All three suffocated beneath grain while loading a truck.

 

 

A 36 year old woman is dead following a farming accident in Saskatchewan.

 

The woman was working for a custom harvesting crew from the U.S. died after she was buried in a truck full of wheat on a farm near Kamsack. Witnesses tried to rescue her but they were unsuccessful.

 

This is the second tragic farming incident on the prairies involving grain-hauling equipment. In late August, two young brothers, 6 and 7, suffocated after they fell into a grain trailer that was being unloaded at a farm in northwestern Alberta.
