So what's happening this weekend? Moose jaw has a variety of notoriously fun events happening all the time! 

During this weekend:

Moose Jaw Miller Express in round 2 of the playoffs

Our very own Miller Express baseball team beat out the Swift Current 57s in the first round of playoffs and are now preparing to head into round 2. 

This weekend they're starting their best-of-three game series against the Medicine Hat Mavericks who beat out the Regina Pats in round 1. 

First game of the series starts Friday August 12th right here at home in Ross Wells Park. First pitch is at 7:05 pm. Tickets can be bought at the door for $15 for an adult, $12 dollars for seniors aged 60+, $5 for students, and children ages 12 and under get in for free courtesy of the Moose Jaw Businesses Club. 

Farmers Market Fundraiser 

The Yara Community Gardens is hosting a Farmers Market Fundraiser to support the gardens. 

They will be fresh produce, canning, and baking. People will also get enjoy self guided tours of the gardens. 

It's happening Saturday, August 13th at the Yara Community Gardens on Home Street between 9 am and 12 pm.  

Pickle ball courts grand opening

Moose Jaw has installed a brand new set of pickle ball courts right behind the Kinsmen Sportsplex. 

The City of Moose Jaw is hosting a grand opening of the courts on Sunday, August 14th from 1 pm to 3 pm. 

Mayor Clive Tolley along with other city council members will be in attendance and they're inviting the public to come out and try the brand new courts.
