The Agricultural Producers Association of Saskatchewan (APAS) is pleased to announce that Greg Marshall has accepted the challenge of becoming the newest APAS Director, representing District 5 in central Saskatchewan.

Marshall farms near Semans and represents the RM Mount Hope #279, Saskatchewan. Marshall's roots are in Saskatchewan agriculture. He has been farming for 33 years. To add to his experience, he has been on the Board of Directors of Saskatchewan Life Insurance Council, the Board of Directors of Saskatchewan Crop Insurance Corporation and has held board positions in other prominent organizations. Marshall is also the past chair of the Raymore Agricultural Marketing Group and he has participated in the Farm Leaders Course of the Canadian International Grains Institute. 

APAS President Ken McBride congratulated Marshall on his new position in the organization.

"APAS is committed to the highest quality of lobbying and leadership for producers and we are glad that Marshall is participating in our cause and becoming a leader. He has earned an important position, and I think that his experience is an asset in representing Saskatchewan producers. I congratulate him and welcome him to our Board." 

APAS is a grassroots organization formed to provide a democratically elected, non-partisan organization that can lobby about issues and for policy change on behalf of provincial producers and their communities.
