A man accused of attempted murder in an alleged home invasion had his case adjourned to Nov. 21 during Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Tuesday.

Joshua Adams appeared via video and McKenzie McCaffrey appeared via telephone as agent for defense lawyer Andrea Urquhart.

McCaffrey asked Judge David Chow for the adjournment to give Urquhart more time to review the Crown's disclosure and speak with Adams for further instructions.

Adams is charged with attempted murder following an alleged home invasion on Sept. 13. Gill Perrault was also charged with attempted murder stemming from the same incident.

Perrault had previously been released on conditions and will appear back in provincial court on April 3, 2024.

The execution of a search warrant by the Moose Jaw Police Service on Sept. 14 resulted in additional charges for Adams including failing to comply with a number of release conditions, possession of proceeds obtained by crime, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking.
