The Moose Jaw Bantam Mustangs opened the season with a massive victory in the Queen City on Tuesday night.

Rowan Calvert had four goals and ten points to lead the way for the Mustangs in a 20-3 win over the Regina Outlaws during their season opener in the South Saskatchewan Lacrosse League.

Liam Fitzpatrick added a hat trick and seven points, while Dalton Cushway also had a hat trick and six points in the win for the Mustangs.

Moose Jaw scored seven goals in the first period, seven in the second and then they added six in the third during the lopsided victory.

Davin Williams had a hat trick and Lukas Salikin scored once and added four assists, Cashton Seaborg had a goal and three points, Logan Hawley picked up two goals and three points, and Payton Kell, Eric Woodley and Colton Ebbett had one goal each.

The Mustangs are off now until their home opener on Monday when they host the Weyburn Thrashers at Mosaic Place.

Coming up on Thursday, the Midget Mustangs travel into Regina to face the Attack at 7:30 p.m. at the Co-Operators Centre.
