With both sites seeing a flurry of activity, there was a very significant task to do at the old Union Hospital in Moose Jaw Tuesday morning. The removal of the "H" on the side of the building brings four years of planning into reality.

Emergency room services have been transferred to the new Dr. Wigmore Regional Hospital on the north side of the city as of 7:30 Tuesday morning.

Patients from the old hospital will be moved to the new facility Wednesday with everything expected to be done by the weekend.
