Rodeo fans, trade show exhibitors and agribusiness partners are counting the days to the 54th Canadian Western Agribition, set to be held in Regina over the fourth week of November.

As Canada’s largest livestock show, it’s an event that needs no introduction to prairie ranchers and western enthusiasts. And with entries open until October 1, there’s still time for producers to enter livestock ad competitions.

“Our livestock entries opened up on September 1, and they’ll be open until midnight on October 1,” says Kylie Beck, Director of Livestock and Rodeo at the Canadian Western Agribition. “So there’s still a bit of time to get those entries in. They’ve been coming in pretty steady, and we’re excited to welcome all our exhibitors back to Regina in November.”

Newcomers to the Canadian Western Agribition will experience an engaging blend of agriculture, shopping and live entertainment at Regina’s REAL District. Starting Monday, November 24 and continuing through Saturday, November 29, the event will also serve as the Maple Leaf Circuit Finals Rodeo, Presented by BHP, and will feature the 12th annual Indigenous Ag Summit, presented by FCC.

Returning exhibitors and attendees will no doubt be looking forward to another six days of livestock shows and competitions, as well as the chance to reconnect with friends they’ve made at Agribition through the years.

“We are very deep-rooted in tradition and always trying to remember how Agribition started and the people that pushed it along at the beginning,” says Beck. “Over the years we have transitioned to new buildings at the REAL District, and we do have some different events than we’ve had in the past.”

She’s especially looking forward to Agribition’s Family Night at the Chutes. Held on the evening of November 25, it’ll be geared towards kids and families and include mini chuckwagon races, a boot scramble, mutton busting, trick riders and much more.
