The Saskatchewan Health Authority telling us they're "immediately" expanding "acute care capacity to mitigate the impact of COVID-19".

Our experts have found modelling from other jurisdictions "suggests that this virus may affect 30% of the population and result in thousands needing hospitalization."

Think about it. That's over 300,000 Saskatchewan people.

With that, a plan of action moves forward this week to create dedicated spaces to cohort COVID-19 patients within facilities, create COVID-19 designated hospitals in Saskatoon and Regina and other regions if required and, create additional community based acute care capacity where required in our school gyms, community centres, rinks and arenas.
