I believe it's going to fill in a gap that we needed to fill - the gap between seniors and technology.

We all know a senior who struggles with cell phones, computers and social media.  We all know a senior who doesn't want any part of it.

Enter the Seniors' Centre Without Walls.  It's relatively new to Saskatchewan.  It's funded by the Canadian Red Cross.

It's giving participants opportunities to "join in on health and wellness seminars, educational lectures, brain-stimulating activities, listen to live music, join conversations" and make new friends.  And, it's all on the TELEPHONE!

Seniors' Centre Without Walls is about socializing and staying connected with people from the comfort of your own home.  You can play games, exercise and join in for the book club, coffee chats and more.

It's for people aged 55 and over.  They promise it's safe and only your first name will be used on the calls.  Oh, and it's FREE!

If you're interested in learning more, you can call 306 631 4357.

If you need to see that number you'll find it on DiscoverMooseJaw by clicking on Carnie's Comments .  This script is there for your perusal.

Oh, and, you can PHONE me too at 694 0800.  See what I did there?
