So, most will understand my stand on COVID-19 vaccinations. I believe in science, and I believe our doctors who tell us the vaccines are safe and effective. And I've had trouble understanding why so many don't want the vaccine. I touched on that in yesterday's commentary.
A good friend of mine read it on DiscoverMooseJaw.com and sent me a message. It reads, "I find myself increasingly worried about the encouragement from higher offices to draw the "us vs. them" line between vaccinated and unvaccinated. I know some people who are unvaccinated, but the more I think about it, the more I think it's wholly unfair to paint them as selfish, angry people. They aren't. They're terrified. And it's manifesting as anger," she wrote.
"It's like when you have a stray dog trapped against a wall and it barks and lunges at you. It's not doing it because it's angry. It's just terrified."
Thank you, my friend, for that message and that analogy. I needed that.
