As you might expect, there are questions and concern and, of course, criticism.

The local Prairie South School Division delivering their COVID-19 mask protocol yesterday.  Locals moms an dads, teachers and school staff are sharing their thoughts on social media.  In fact, there are close to 100 comments and close to 200 shares on the Prairie South Facebook page.

There are five separate groups in the plan.  Kids from Pre K to grade 3 will not be required to wear masks but parents "may choose to provide masks for their children and school staff will support their use".

Grades 4 to 12 students will be required to wear masks "during indoor transitions" in hallways and for bathroom visits and on the school bus.

There are some times and situations where classroom staff will be required to mask up, including in grades 4 to 12 classrooms where there are 15 or more staff and students present.

I overheard a conversation at a local convenience store yesterday.  Two people were talking about the local masking protocol and the local public school division.  One of those people said, "They don't know what they're doing."

And, I wondered, do any of us really know what we're doing?  I think, like our leaders at Prairie South, we're all just doing the best we can.
