We're having some fun today on this, National #TakeoutDay, asking you what your favourite, local place is.  Add your voice on the CHAB Facebook page.

There, you'll find a photo of pizza from Mad Greek.  It's one of my favourites.  I'm also a big fan of Rodos Pizza in Moose Jaw.

I'm also a Chinese food lover.  We've got some great places - in fact, we have a long history of great Chinese restaurants in our city.

I think about the National Cafe and special family dinners upstairs in the Arbour Room.

Remember the Modern Cafe?  There was some authentic cuisine and great people who always made you feel welcome from Paul, Philip and Freeman to Kenny and Hughy cooking it up in the kitchen.

The Mandarin was a wonderful restaurant and Sandy Wong and his family gracious hosts.

And, remember Ta Tung?  It was a hole-in-the-wall, greasy diner on High Street.  It was there I discovered Cantonese chow mein.  It was loaded with barbecue pork, shrimp, chicken and veggies all on a bed of slippery noodles.

Anyway - National #TakeoutDay - treat yourself and support local restaurants today.

Gotta go.  Hungry.
