The dust has settled at Ross Wells Park and River Street Promotions' Homestand '22.   The final numbers aren't in yet but I understand attendance was up by at least 200 and it was profitable again.  Proceeds will go to youth mental health programming and improvements at Ross Wells.

I had the pleasure of handling some of the announcing duties Saturday night which meant I was backstage with the performers.  I love that.  You get to see the focus, the passion and feel the energy.

The boys in Chilliwack were all business - calm and cool before their show.  And then they lit it up.  They rocked the house.  They had people of all ages singing and dancing and it was apparent the boys in the band loved every minute of it.

You know, those guys have been rockin' for over 50 years!  That's incredible.

I talked with front-man Bill Henderson after the show.  He seemed to get a little emotional when he told me that was their last show of the season.

I wished him well and thanked him for coming to Moose Jaw.

He told me to "Keep on keepin' on."

I hope he and Chilliwack will do the same.
