He's the most awarded male Canadian country artist in history, the most played Canadian artist on country radio in history, has the most played Canadian country radio song with "My Heart Has A History", and he is the latest inductee to the CCMA Country Music Hall of Fame. Ladies and Gentlemen here's Paul Brandt:

This was a crazy busy and memorable weekend for Paul at the CCMA's and myself. For the first time in my 5 years of being with Country 100 I was lucky enough to finally meet Paul Brandt. Here's a little back story on why it was so important to me:

"Well it was a bucket list moment this weekend. I got to meet Paul Brandt at the CCMAs.

A little back story on why it was so special to me. I grew up listening to Paul all the time since my parents would play his music a ton! And When I first started at Country 100 here in Moose Jaw the first ever song I played was his song "Small Towns & Big Dreams". A song which ended up meaning a lot to me growing up in small towns and always dreaming big of becoming a radio announcer. Which I was dead set on to be at the age of 13. And here I am 12 years later exactly where I'm meant to be.

To me Small Towns and Big Dreams is a reminder to myself that no matter where I go in this crazy career I'll always be that girl from small towns with big dreams. To keep humble, have faith in myself and community, and to simply just be me.

Not going to lie it was hard to keep my cool and not totally fan girl meeting Paul lol.
Music plays such a huge role in our lives and helps all of us get through hard times and good times.

It was a great opportunity to meet him this weekend and an honour to have him sign my tattoo. Such a special weekend for it also as he was inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame(congratulations again by the way). Today I got to complete my tattoo with the help of Rob Kraushaar from Inner War Tattoo in Regina who did a fantastic job making the autograph perfect and coming in to work just to tattoo me. I truly appreciate it."
