The Canadian Football League released their 2021 schedule today.

Pre-season will see the Riders in a pair of games against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, with games May 28 in Winnipeg and June 4 at Mosaic Stadium. 

The regular season getting underway June 12 with the Riders in Edmonton. The first home game is scheduled for June 19 against the Ottawa RedBlacks. 

The annual Labour Day Sunday game where the Riders host Winnipeg is also in the schedule, as is the Banjo Bowl the following Saturday. The Riders bye weeks are weeks 11, 16 and the final week, 21. The Riders wrap their season Oct. 23 with a home date against the Montreal Alouettes. 

The Grey Cup is set for Nov. 21.

The 2020 season was cancelled due to the pandemic and there is no word on how many spectators will be allowed, or if issues surrounding interprovincial travel will have been resolved by then.
