The Salvation Army in Moose Jaw is once again holding interviews for their Christmas Assistance Program.
The program aims to make sure that families who need help during the holiday season receive it.
“Basically, if there's somebody that is in need during the Christmas season, they should contact us, and we will work out the details for them. But if they feel that they have a need, we will see what we can do to assist,” said Major Clarence Ingram with the Salvation Army in Moose Jaw.
Interviews will take place at 175 - 1st Avenue NE on weekdays from November 20th through December 1st, between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. There are no set appointments during those times, and applicants can show up for an interview if it is within those hours.
Information needed at the interview includes identification for all family members, proof of your address, and proof of your income.
Ingram says that the Salvation Army’s Christmas Assistance Program helps hundreds of Moose Javians every year.
