The City of Moose Jaw has announced the winner of its 2023 Tree of Significance.
This year’s Tree of Significance is a mature little leaf linden tree at 1316 Princess Cres. The tree was nominated for its “fragrant late-spring blossoms and large, even form. It’s an excellent specimen tree.”
The Tree of Significance program has been held annually since 2011 in conjunction with National Tree Day on Sept. 20 and National Forest Week.
The program encourages residents to take notice of and appreciate the beauty of the city’s urban forest.
You can view all of the Tree of Significance winners since 2011 on the City of Moose Jaw’s website.
