City of Moose Jaw crews has been hard at work trying to haul away the snow that was left by Mother Nature over the last three weeks.

Crews started on Sunday night by removing the windrows of snow on Main St., followed by 9th Ave NW.

As of Wednesday, the following areas have been cleared of snow:

  • Main St from Manitoba St. to Thatcher Dr.

  • 9th Ave NW from Warner St. to Thatcher Dr.

  • 1st NW from Manitoba St. to Oxford St.

  • Saskatchewan St from 5th to 7th

  • Coteau W from 5th to 7th

Snow removal began at schools across the city on Tuesday night and the city says that possibly could continue into Wednesday evening. Following the schools, crews will then focus on hauling snow away from the metered parking areas downtown.

They are predicting that the snow removal will be completed by Thursday.

Drivers are asked to exercise caution and stay a safe distance from heavy equipment.
