Things are slowly getting worse on local roads and highways now that the wind is starting to pick up.  The snow started early this morning and now it's starting to get kicked up by the wind, reducing visibility.

There has even been some freezing rain down in the south country as they see warmer conditions to start the day. At one point, Assiniboia was reporting +2 degrees.  Those wet roads are now freezing and there are a few travel warnings right now, including Highway 13 in and out of Assiniboia due to icy roads.

Meanwhile, conditions appear to be getting better around Saskatoon as the travel warnings for Highway 11 have been lifted. However there is still blowing snow being report with similar conditions on the TransCanada east and west of Moose Jaw.
