It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gary Verne Lloyd Cornish on Monday, August 6^th, 2012. Gary grew to love the Lord and the land, being raised on a farm in Eyebrow, SK. He influenced many lives over his 30 year teaching career. He was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Ruth Cornish; niece, Kimberly Cornish; sister-in-law, Denise Cornish; and brother, Robert Cornish. Gary is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; his children: Stephen (Denise), Lori (Russ) Neufeld, Jason (Sara), Donald (Lisa) and Arla (Peter) Schmidt; grandchildren: Jonah, Levi, Grace, Theodore, Jason, Lyla, Weston, Adin, Van and Ethan; and by his 4 brothers and 3 sisters. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 10^th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in First Free Methodist Church, 375 Hochelaga St. W., Moose Jaw, SK. A Time of Visitation for Family and Friends will be held on Thursday, August 9^th, 2012 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Gary’s name may be made to the Arlington Beach Camp and Conference Centre, Box 15, Cymric, SK S0G 0Z0.
