Canadian Pacific's (CP) Holiday Train is back this year and will be making a stop in Moose Jaw on Tuesday, December 6.

The train will pull into the CP Station in Downtown Moose Jaw around 4:30 pm that day with its spectacular lights and musical performances by Tenille Townes and Aysanabee.

"We're so looking forward to it, to come together and it's nice, it's going to be an early show so lots of little people can come join us and take in the festivities and just enjoy it, all being together again," said CP's Gabrielle Belanger.

In conjunction with the Holiday Train, the Moose Jaw Co-op is asking for public's help to stock the shelves of the local food bank with their annual Good-Buy to Hunger Campaign.

Co-op's Michaela Turner explained how it works.

"You buy a $10 bag at the Moose Jaw Co-op Food Store. We do all the work, keep it pretty simple. We compile all the bags of food and make pallets and pallets of food that we ship over to the food bank to stock their shelves for, not only the holiday season, but for the coming months."

People are also asked to bring a cash donation or non-perishable food item on December 6 when they come out for the Holiday Train.

The food drive wraps up on December 16.
