For years, the Early Childhood Intervention Program (ECIP) has worked with families to enhance all areas of children’s development.

From September 11-17, we recognize ECIP Week – a time for all to celebrate the importance of the program and the work they do for the community.

“The Early Childhood Intervention Programs are a network of non-profit organizations across the province that provide quality intervention services to children aged 0-6 years, who are experiencing any sort of developmental delays,” said Executive Director, Nancy Rosnes. “With ECIP Week, each ECIP host finds promotions to celebrate the success of their program, in their area."

Here in Moose Jaw, the South Central ECIP is hosting a car seat safety clinic next week, to ensure the safety of all children passengers.

Those interested in attending can check out the clinic in the west parking lot of the Town n' Country Mall on Tuesday, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

SGI and Moose Jaw Police Service will also be in attendance, making sure that the car seats are safe for all children.
