The Moose Jaw Fire Department and Moose Jaw Police Service were on-site on the Manitoba St. East Bridge at around 10 p.m. on Sunday night.

The bridge spans overtop the Moose Jaw River.

Fire Chief Rod Montgomery says there was a small fire under the bridge that crews were able to put out in a matter of minutes.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
