February was a strong month for the City of Moose Jaw when it comes to building permits.

There were 12 permits issued, bringing in a total of $1.9 million.

The number of permits issued last month was down by two compared to the same time period in 2020. However, this year’s permits brought $1.17 million more than all of 2020.

So far this year, there have been 21 building permits issued worth $2.25 million. It is three permits fewer than last year, but 2021 permits have brought in $741,000 more than the previous year.

There have been no new dwellings built so far in 2021, and one demolition.
