Five people were taken into custody by Moose Jaw RCMP after reports of a break-in at a work site near Belle Plaine on Sunday morning.  

According to the RCMP, a group of individuals were in a vehicle that was reported stolen in Regina that got stuck in a ditch. Police say they used machinery from a nearby worksite to unsuccessfully get the vehicle out of the ditch before breaking into a building on the worksite and taking food and beverage items. 

Officers found five people in the vicinity of the worksite and were arrested. 

Crystal Netmaker, 25, of North Battleford, Robert-Jake Alexson, 25, of Regina, Paulina Alexson, 20, of Regina, Joshua Fiddler, 21, of Regina and Malecia Alexson, 18, of Regina have each been charged with the following: 

  • Break and enter with the intent to commit an indictable offence. 
  • Possession of property obtained by crime less than $5,000. 

Crystal Netmaker is also facing charges of possession of property obtained by crime less than $5,000, theft under $5,000, failure to comply with a probation order and breach of a conditional sentence order. 

Robert-Jake Alexson is facing an additional charge of failing to comply with a probation order. 

Crystal Netmaker is scheduled to appear in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on July 11 and Robert-Jake Alexson is scheduled to appear on July 12. 

Paulina Alexson, Joshua Fiddler and Malecia Alexson are scheduled to appear in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Sept. 4.  

White Butte RCMP, Moose Jaw Combined Traffic Services Saskatchewan, and Saskatchewan RCMP Police Dog Services also assisted with this investigation.
