A suspect that fled from police is now in custody.

On August 20th at around 3pm Moose Jaw police attempted to stop a vehicle at the 900 block of Athabasca East, and though the driver was able to escape, police made a positive identification.

Then early this morning at 12:30 police once again located the vehicle and driver. The man fled on foot but police were able to arrest the 23 year-old man, who is wanted on several outstanding warrants.

Upon a search of the vehicle, police found a sawed off .22 caliber firearm and ammo.

The man is facing charges including numerous firearm offences, flight from police and multiple breach of court orders. He will appear in court today.
