A thick layer of fog has rolled through Moose Jaw and the surrounding areas, which could cause some issues for motorists on Tuesday morning. This has led Environment Canada to issue a fog advisory for the city and several Rural Municipalities around Moose Jaw.
They say that conditions will improve through the morning hours after sunrise and visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
Fog advisories are issued when near zero visibilities in fog are expected or occurring.
Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to SKstorm@ec.gc.ca or tweet reports using #SKStorm.
