The Village of Pense, east of Moose Jaw, is getting a big chunk of change from the federal and provincial governments.
The construction crews will be busy this summer in the Village of Pense thanks to a federal/provincial funding announcement Friday.
$1.2 million dollars for street paving through the Building Canada Fund.
Palliser Member of Parliament Ray Boughen, "That's part of the first phase of the infrastructure program. This plan is one which distributes money to communities and this program at Pense definitely qualifies as an infrastructure program because the parameters of the program talks about things like roads, sewer lines, water lines, bridges that kind of a program."
Pense must come up with the remainder of the cash to complete the $1.69 million project.
