Oh, this is exciting.  Our Moose Jaw Warriors, having just finished a remarkable, record-setting regular season, are about to embark on their journey into the Western Hockey League playoffs.

This year's version of the Warriors is one of the most exciting hockey clubs we've ever had the pleasure of watching.  The team is fast and we have a number of highly skilled players - junior hockey superstars.  Oh, we've had great players and good teams in the past but this one is different.  The talent pool is deep.

We all know it's a long, tough road to the Memorial Cup in Regina two months from now, but you won't find too many experts who would tell you that goal is unrealistic.

The man who built this team, our general manager Alan Millar, is excited about the possibilities and ready to deal with the intangibles.  There's only one thing that frightens him and that is the very real possibility that the rules change now.  That seems to happen when the playoffs start.  We've seen it before.

If WHL officials continue to disallow the hooking, holding, slashing and interference, the Warriors will succeed.  If not....well, that's what worries the general manager.
