It seems to me Halloween used to be a really big deal.  Like, back in the 70s and into the 80s.  When we were kids we couldn't wait to get dressed up and hit the streets to load up on candy.  Pillow cases we had and we'd fill 'em up, unload, and go out and fill 'em up again.

Oh, there are still kids who do the same but it seems like fewer and fewer children go out trick or treating every year.  Am I wrong?

It also seems to me that Halloween is still a big deal for many who grew up in the 70s and 80s....This past weekend you could find hundreds of grown up trick or treaters....dressed up in creative costumes and having fun.

And that's the key, isn't it?  Every year at this time someone or some group makes the news speaking out AGAINST Halloween.

BUT....But....I think we need to see Halloween for what it is to the vast majority in our society.  It's FUN.  That's it....FUN.

I hope you have a little fun with Halloween.
